Intransitive Verbs Exercise-11

Many Intransitive Verbs (that cannot take an object) are followed by a Preposition in order to take an object. Omission of a Preposition will amount to a wrong sentence. For example :
 Wrong : We listened the teacher.
Right : We listened to the teacher.
Wrong : Many people were gazing the scenery.
 Right : Many people were gazing at the scenery.
  
Now, Rewrite the following sentences with suitable Prepositions :
 1. We should abstain all bad habits.
 2. Please apply this post immediately.
 3. He pointed the tall building.
 4. I insist accuracy in your writing.
 5. We listened the story as told by Granny.
 6. The teacher was looking a piece of chalk.
 7. The price of the cloth depends its quality.
 8. I cannot think his name.
