An interviewee should adhere to the following points :
1. Honesty. “Honesty is the best policy” goes the famous saying. Interviewers judge you by the answers you supply them with. They are experienced people and have seen more years in life than you have. If you try to mislead or befool them with untruthful answers, it would certainly be made out. It is of the utmost importance for you to be faithful and truthful. Honesty is the first requirement that an employer seeks in his employee. If he finds that the interviewee is not honest, he is not going to select him, whatever may be the qualifications or experience of the candidate. Giving a false, strained or misleading impression is certainly going to have adverse impact. And remember, it can be made out.
2. The Employer Wants More Than a Worker. When the employer advertises a post, he classifies it into various names, such as clerk, accountant, sales manager, and so on, but in fact he wants more than an employee. He wants an employee who will help him and the organisation to progress. He expects of him to create a suitable amiable working atmosphere. He wants him to confront the problems head on that seize the organisation. He wants a person who can become a ‘problem buster’ and can accept additional responsibilities. He does not want a rumour monger. In fact, he wants a complete personality than a mere worker, who can help achieve the goals. He wants a person who has strong will to prosper and advance. He is looking for a person who can improvise working. He also wants him to possess creativity, analytic ability, imagination, leadership qualities, capability to foresee, face and solve unforeseen hindrances.
