2. As
Direct Object of a Verb :

3. As
Indirect Object of a Verb :
The teacher offered the student
a reward.
The guest brought the boy
a computer game.
4. As
Object of a Preposition :
They were going to school.
Let us all pray for his health.
5. As
Modifier of Another Noun : The Noun in this capacity functions like an
Adjective :
The table fan stopped functioning at midnight.
He is a film star.
6. As
Complement :
Our teacher is a graduate.
You will be an engineer one day.
