These are the ravines, called Beehad, in which once reigned the robbers, called Dakus or Dacoits, in central India. This place is located in Muraina or Morena near Gwalior. As you pass through this region, the sense of horses riding through the difficult ravines come to you from nowhere. These ravines have given a large number of extraordinary robbers who looted the rich to serve the poor, and several of them have even participated in India's freedom struggle against the British. Now, the menace of Dacoits is over, but we can find them in people white-clad garments occupying high seats of government, nonetheless they are no servants of people.
