Read the following story :
A crow was flying over a forest. He was very thirsty. He looked for water here and there. He saw a pitcher. He flew down. The water was low. His beak could not reach it. He saw some pebbles nearby. He picked them up one by one and put in the pitcher. The water rose. He satiated his thirst. Then he flew away.
Now, rewrite the above story into interrogative :
Begin like this : Where was a crow
flying?.............
Answer : Where was a crow flying? Was he thirsty? Where
did he look for water? What did he see? What did he do? How high was the water?
What could not reach it? What did he saw nearby? What did he pick up one by on
and put in the pitcher? What happened to the water? What did he do with water?
What did he do then?
Shouldn't it be used instead of he?
ReplyDeleteIt depends on the writer to use 'he' or 'it'. If an animal is being shown as a speaking and thinking character, you can well use 'he'.
