Shops vs Online purchasing

Shopkeepers now can be heard complaining that more people are turning to online purchasing from websites like Amazon or Flipkart. However, when they make these complaints, they don't care to introspect on the mistakes they make. Why people are turning to online purchasing has several causes. They get several benefits that they don't get when they interact with ordinary shops.
First, customers can buy at their own convenience, whether day or night, while they need to visit the store or market for the same.
Second, it takes hardly a few minutes for a customer to know online if the thing he is looking for, is available and in what brands.
Third, if they wish to return a thing bought, they just inform the online vendor and the rest of the issue is looked after by the vendor including the refund. But in case of a shop, this normally leads to sore relations and unsatisfactory results, including the refusal and forcing the customer to buy something in lieu.
Fourth, a shopkeeper can mislead a customer in a number of ways, including higher rates, denial of discounts, selling fake brands, etc.
Five, most shops have encroached right up to the road leaving no room for the customers to park their vehicles. They are the primary reason for markets to be crowded, which is very dangerous in the prevailing Corona times.
Six, in case of a dispute, the shopkeepers often surround and threaten the customer, even when they themselves are in the wrong.
The shopkeepers need to improve their services and image if they wish to stand in comparison with online platforms.
