ADJECTIVES AS CONNECTORS

Only Conjunctions do not function as Connectors, other Parts of Speech too can function like that. We told you about Pronouns, now we come to Adjectives and Nouns :
Look at the following examples how an Adjective can function as a Connector :
·         This is a building. It is tall and beautiful.
This is a tall and beautiful building.
·         Plato was a philosopher. He was born in the ancient times.
Plato was an ancient philosopher.
·         I saw a snake. It was black and long.
I saw a black and long snake.
·         That is a little, naughty girl. She is twelve years old.
That little, naughty girl is twelve years old.
Or, She is a five-year-old little, naughty girl.

Nouns as Adjectives :
In some cases, Nouns too can serve as Adjectives; for example :
·         He is a writer. He writes songs.
He is a song writer.
·         She is a teacher. She teaches science.
She is a science teacher.
