Only Conjunctions do not function as Connectors, other Parts of Speech too can function like that. We told you about Pronouns, now we come to Adjectives and Nouns :
Look at the following examples how an Adjective can function
as a Connector :

This is a building. It is tall and beautiful.
This is a tall and beautiful building.
·
Plato was a philosopher. He was born in the
ancient times.
Plato was an ancient philosopher.
·
I saw a snake. It was black and long.
I saw a black and long snake.
·
That is a little, naughty girl. She is twelve
years old.
That little, naughty girl is twelve years old.
Or, She is a
five-year-old little, naughty girl.
Nouns as Adjectives :
In some cases, Nouns too can serve as Adjectives; for
example :

He is a writer. He writes songs.
He is a song
writer.
·
She is a teacher. She teaches science.
She is a science
teacher.
